Emory Track & Field Heads to Sewanee for the Tiger Indoor Invitational
The Emory University track and field team will compete in its
first meet at a Division III school this season on Saturday, as the
Eagles will head to the University of the South for the Tiger
Indoor Invitational.
The Eagles will be sending 25 men to the meet, who will be
scheduled to compete in 14 different events. Emory will also
be sending a contingent of 21 women, who will take part in 11
events. Other schools scheduled to compete at the meet
include Mississippi College, Chattahoochee Tech, Oglethorpe,
Birmingham Southern, Carson Newman, Lee, Bryan and Covenant.
The meet will be held at the Fowler Center, located on the
University of the South Campus in Sewanee, TN. The center
features a four-lane, 160 meter track.
The field events are slated for a 9:00 AM start, while the running
events will begin at noon on Saturday.
