Eagles to Split Squad Between Three Weekend Track & Field Meets
The Emory University track and field team will have a busy
weekend coming up, as the Eagles will take part in three meets,
traveling to the Duke Invitational, the Furman Invitational, and
the Ole Miss Invitational.
The Duke Invitational is scheduled for a noon start on Friday,
April 8th, and will continue through April
9th, with a 9:00 AM start on Saturday. The Furman
Invitational is scheduled for a 7:30 AM start on Saturday, while
the Ole Miss Invitational will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
Emory is currently scheduled to send eight women and seven women to
the Duke Invitational, who will compete in the distance and
mid-distance events, including the 800-meter run, 1,500-meter run,
2,000-meter steeplechase, 3,000-meter steeplechase, 5,000-meter run
and 10,000-meter run. Athletes attending include Sara
Gelb, Melanie Frank, Sarah
Klass, Tess Gallegos, Jennifer
Feinberg, Emily Caesar, Meredith

The largest contingent of Emory athletes will be headed to the
Furman Invitational in Greenville, SC on Saturday, as the Eagles
will be competing in a variety of sprints, throws, jumps and
