Emily Mitchell

Emory University freshman Emily Mitchell won the long jump at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational in Sewanee, TN on Saturday.  Mitchell claimed the event victory with a jump of 5.26 meters, the second-best in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season and 41st among all Division III athletes.  She also finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.27 meters, the eighth-best mark in the UAA this season, and 12th in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.77 seconds.
