Emory Volleyball Off To Fast Start At UAA Championships
The No. 4-ranked Emory volleyball team continued its winning
ways on Friday as it captured its opening two matches at the
University Athletic Association Championships in Chicago.
The Eagles opened the Championships with a 3-0 triumph (25-16,
25-21, 25-21) over Brandeis before registering a 3-0 win (25-22,
25-12, 25-15) over Carnegie Mellon. The two victories ran Emory's
win streak to 11 matches and upped its overall record to 32-5 (8-1
UAA).
Emory returns to action on Saturday morning when it will tangle
with host Chicago at 10:00 (CST). If the Eagles win that
match, they will advance to title match at 4:00 p.m. The
championship will be webcast with the link posted below.
