Emory Volleyball To Have Select Matches Webcast
Fans of the Emory University volleyball program will be
able to follow the team via the internet as a total of eight home
matches will be webcast during the 2009 season.
The first contest slated to be webcast will be Emory's
season-opener against the University of West Georgia on Tuesday,
Sept. 1, starting at 7:00 p.m. Other webcasts are slated for
Friday, Sept. 4 vs. UW-Platteville (7:00 p.m.); Saturday, Sept. 5
against New Paltz (3:30 p.m.); Tuesday, Sept. 15 vs. North Alabama
(6:00 p.m.); Tuesday, Sept. 22 vs. Alabama-Huntsville (6:00 p.m.);
Friday, Sept. 25 vs. Washington & Lee (7:00 p.m.); Friday, Oct.
30 vs. Berry (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 31, against Birmingham
Southern (3:30 p.m.).
In order you view the webcast, you need to have RealPlayer©
version 10 or newer installed on your computer. To download
the free version of RealPlayer©, go to www.real.com, and click on the "Get
RealPlayer© - Free" button on the upper-left side of the
screen.
Once RealPlayer is installed, the webcast can be accessed by going
to the Live Webcasts link that will be located under the Multimedia
pull-down menu on the school's new athletics web site, www.emoryathletics.com.
The launch date for the school's new site will be the afternoon of
Sept. 1.

further information regarding webcasting of other future Emory
athletic events.
