59 Emory Student Athletes Go Through Graduation Ceremonies

59 Emory University student-athletes received their degrees Monday at the annual spring commencement exercises. The graduation ceremonies were conducted on the Emory quadrangle. U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano delivered the keynote address at Emory's 166th commencement ceremony

The Emory men's cross country/track and field teams graduated a total of 10 students while the women's swimming and diving and baseball programs saw seven of their members go through the ceremony.

The following is a list of Emory student-athletes who competed during the 2010-11 season who received their degrees.

Baseball: Andrew Cohn (Marietta, GA); Elliott Coor (Lawrenceville, GA), Ryan Jones (Brusnwick, GA), Chris Monaco (Mt. Laurel, NJ); Evan Plys (Haddonfield, NJ); Patrick Riebsame (Melbourne, FL); Gabe Shivers (McDonough, GA).

Men's Basketball: Marcus Patterson (New York, NY); Julien Williams (Potomac, MD).

Women's Basketball: Melinh Rozen (Chevy Chase, MD); Courtney Von Stein (Trafalgar, IN).

Golf: Charles Raindre (Paris, France).

Men's Soccer: Christopher Howie (Savannah, GA); Jake Graetz (Milford, CT); Nathan McKeever (Lilburn, GA); Michael Scannapieco (New Hope, PA); Adam Waxman (Chagrin Falls, OH).

Women's Soccer: Sara Belsole (Tampa, FL); Melanie Levy (Plainview, NY); Meghan McMahon (Towson, MD); Alyssa Perez (Gainesville, VA); Emily Rubin (Cupertino, CA); Lauren Smith (Hayward, CA).

Softball: Zara Louy (Santa Monica, CA); Nikki Perez (Miami, FL).
