Freshman Logan Ryan was the top performer for the No. 1-ranked Emory golf team at the Gordin Classic in Columbus, Ohio.
Ryan paced the contingent and finished runner-up in the 90-player field with a six-under par 210 (70-71-69), with that effort the school's third-best individual score for a 54-hole event. Ryan was just one shot off the pace of medalist Rob Wuethrich (69-71—69) from Illinois Wesleyan.
The Eagles registered a second-place finish out of 13 teams at the Classic, shooting a team score of eight-under 856 (286-291-279), the program's second-best mark ever for a 54-hole tournament.
