Adrien Bouchet

Sophomore Adrien Bouchet helped the Emory men's tennis team to a pair of wins in the NCAA D-III Championships.

Bouchet went 2-0 in doubles and 1-0 in singles as the Eagles posted victories over North Carolina Wesleyan and Sewanee.

In the NCWC battle, Bouchet and junior Max Renke accounted for the initial point of the match with an 8-4 decision at No. 2 doubles over Richard Gende and David Chang.  Later on, Bouchet registered the clinching point in the 5-1 verdict with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph vs. J.D. Telles at No. 3 singles.

In a 5-0 blanking of Sewanee in the third round, Bouchet and Renke again tallied the first point of the afternoon with an 8-4 win against Andres Carron and Jordan Brewer.

On the year, Bouchet is 16-6 in singles outings and has joined up with Renke to fashion a 16-6 slate in doubles.
