Senior Scott Rubinstein picked up two singles wins and one in doubles as the Emory men's tennis team split matches against a pair of top-10 ranked opponents.
In Emory's 8-1 decision over No. 7 Amherst, Rubinstein teamed with James Spaulding to come away with an 8-5 victory at No. 1 doubles. In singles competition, he rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Oliver Kendall at the No. 6 spot. Against No. 6 Middlebury, Rubinstein accounted for one of the Eagles' two points with a decision vs. Nate Eazor, 6-0, 6-7, 10-4 at No. 5.
So far this year, Rubinstein and Spaulding stand 17-6 in doubles while he has compiled a 10-6 ledger in singles action.
